Plenty is happening in Guernsey today (18 July).
Hundreds of people are expected to head to Guernsey's west coast this weekend for the annual Rocquaine Regatta.
The free family event, stretching from Fort Grey to The Imperial, features a full day of activities from sunrise to sunset, including boat racing, sandcastle competitions and paddleboard jousting.
On the other side of the island, motorsport fans can go to the Val des Terres to watch a key round of the British Hill Climb championship.
Visiting drivers from the UK and Jersey will jostle for the shortest time up the steep, twisting hill.
The fastest ever time over the 777 metres is 26.47 seconds, achieved in the National in 2023.
Traffic and Highways have advised that the Val des Terres will be closed between 7am and 6pm while the competition takes place.
Music fans can head to Sausmarez Manor for Live at the Manor, a one-day festival featuring performers from the United States, France and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Meanwhile, in Sark, one of the Channel Islands' most unusual annual events returns.
The island's popular sheep races, which raise money for Sark's medical fund, will run from 12:15pm until 4:45pm, with live entertainment continuing until 11:30pm.
