Heavy fog has cancelled and diverted a number of flights across the Channel Islands.
Guernsey has seen the worst of the disruption with most of today’s services not making it into the island.

Flights that have taken off have been held above their destination before a number of them were sent back, as visibility is too low.
EasyJet flights from Gatwick and Belfast to Jersey have been sent back, with Guernsey Airport turning around flights from Bristol, Dublin and Manchester.

There have been no flights at all between Guernsey and Jersey, with the Blue Islands red eye being cancelled and the lunchtime flight being diverted back to Jersey.
Fog is expected to continue overnight (27 April) and into tomorrow morning before clearing in the afternoon (28 April)
