The Bailiff has so far received just one nomination to replace Jurat Barbara Bartie, who currently holds the soon to be vacant position.
The senior Jurat post, which acts as Chairman of the Jurats’ deliberations in criminal cases, reports their decision to the court.
Paul Martin Burnard is the nominee, proposed by Deputy Lyndon Trott and seconded by Deputy Peter Ferbrache.
Nominations for the post opened on 6th September and will close at 4pm on Friday the 27th September, 2019.
