Sculptures of characters from the children's tale the 'Wind in the Willows' have been placed along the Les Vardes Quarry Nature Walk.
Each of the hand-carved animals has been created by Manchester-based artist Mike Burgess, who visits Guernsey regularly.
Walkers can look out for Mr Toad, Moley, Mr Badger, Ratty and friends from the 1908 novel.
A wooden bench has also been added to the trail by The Lions Club and Ronez.
The 'Children's Whisper Seat' has a large owl and lion carved into the sides for children to put their arm around and talk to.

The Lions Club has been working on the project for two years, since Lion Tony Corbin suggested a nature trail to encourage children and their families to get out on interesting walks and to read about the characters they find.
"We hope that Islanders will make use of this walk, enjoy the characters and also appreciate the size and depth of the quarry at Les Vardes." - The Lions Club.
