Police want to speak to anyone who saw a crash involving a black motorcycle and Jersey Post Van on Greve D'Azette last Tuesday afternoon (13 October).
Both vehicles were heading east.
The male rider was taken to hospital for treatment and the road was closed for around two and a half hours.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call police on 612612 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
