15 firefighters tackled a blaze at Greve de Lecq last night, that’s thought to have been caused by fireworks.
The furze fire broke out at around 9:30pm and was spreading towards houses.

It was one of several incidents that fire crews had to deal with.
Another fire engine was sent to tackle a small fire in St Helier at the same time, which left the island without cover.
An investigation has also been launched after a hedgerow caught fire near St John's Recreation centre.
Jersey Fire and Rescue is urging people to use fireworks responsibly and check that weather conditions are appropriate.
