Islanders who have recovered from coronavirus after a positive PCR test can now get a certificate to prove it.
It has a QR code, which can be scanned to show when the person tested positive and when the certificate expires.
It is valid from day 11 after testing positive and will expire after 180 days. It can't be extended.
The certificate replaces the recovery letter that had been given to people until now to prove they've had the virus and recovered from it.
Anyone who has been given a letter recently can continue using it for social security reasons. They don't need to request a certificate instead.
The certificate can be requested by calling the Coronavirus Helpline on 01534 445566 or 0800 735 5566.
Islanders travelling abroad are being asked to check:
- The country's requirements for entry by looking on www.gov.uk
- Up to date information from the website of the country they're going to
