There was serious disruption to traffic this lunchtime after a car crashed into a wall at one of St Helier's busiest junctions.
The black Ford Focus crashed at the junction of Gloucester Street and the Esplanade - causing traffic to back up along Victoria Avenue and the underpass.
It is understood the driver fell ill at the wheel but didn't suffer any further injuries as a result of the crash.
All the emergency services were called to the scene at around 11:30am this morning.
Police asked drivers to avoid the area, which was cleared just before 1pm.
The RTC at Gloucester Street / Esplanade junction has now cleared, we would like to thank motorists for their patience during this time.
