Police have named the young man killed in a crash in St Peter’s Valley as 18 year old Aaron Banks.
The teenager died when the Suzuki Jimny he was driving collided with another vehicle on the road between Tesson Mill and Mont Fallu on Saturday afternoon.
His family are being supported by specially-trained Family Liaison Officers.
No one else was injured. Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident, which happened at 4.20pm and closed the road for around eight hours.
The States of Jersey Police says it extends its deepest sympathy to Aaron’s family and friends at this sad time.
