Jersey Fire & Rescue came to the aid of their emergency services colleagues when a fire broke out at the Police HQ.
Three fire engines were called out to Route du Fort at around 11:15 pm last night (28 January 2025).
A fire broke out in the server room at the police station, but luckily the automatic fire system helped suppress the blaze.
The fire brigade quickly extinguished the fire and no one was injured in the incident.
"Colleagues prepared to leave the building as part of a progressive evacuation, however, this was stood down as the fire was put out.
"This included those working in the Emergency Services Control Centre, who were ready to move to the back-up facility at the States of Jersey Ambulance Service Headquarters."
There was no disruption to incoming 999 calls.
