Five Oaks roundabout will be closed from 1pm today (11 January) until 9pm tomorrow night (12 January).
It's being resurfaced again, just weeks after it was last relaid, because it wasn't done properly.
The cost of doing the work again is being met by the contractor.
The roundabout will be closed to traffic from all directions during the same times next weekend too.
"We appreciate that this closure will cause disruption for Islanders, but we work to specifications which need to be met.
"The costs will not be met by Government, but by our contractor who we have worked with to determine the cause and what can be learned to reduce the chance of it happening again.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.” - Rob Cabot, Highways Maintenance Manager.
Diversions are in place, with more information on the work here.
