Ports of Jersey is asking people to stay clear of the groyne at Greve de Lecq beach.
The shore protection structure has been damaged by the tides and recent stormy weather.

Signs are being put up in the area.
Ports of Jersey says it will provide another update when the damage has been assessed and when a programme of repairs has been finalised.
The island has been battered by strong winds over the last couple of weeks following the impact of Storm Arwen.
A yellow level warning is in place for strong winds this evening (10 December).
