A gas worker will face a retrial in connection with the fatal Haut du Mont explosion in 2022.
In a hearing at the Royal Court, Lee Ward, 59, was told that he will face another trial, charged with ten counts of gross negligence manslaughter.
A jury previously failed to reach a majority verdict following a five-and-a-half week trial.
Mr Ward, wearing a blue suit, only spoke to confirm his name in court today.
A new trial date has yet to be set, although Crown Advocate Simon Thomas estimated it would take around two weeks.
