Former JT and Velos IoT CEO Graeme Millar is heading up Channel Islands' gas supplier Islands Energy with immediate effect.
Mr Millar takes over from interim CEO Aiden Baglow, Isle of Man Energy's Managing Director.
Graeme says he is excited to join IEG at such a pivotal moment in the company’s history.
"Gas is an essential part of the energy mix of our communities, especially as we transition towards net zero.
"I look forward to working with all our stakeholders to ensure we provide our islands with energy security and resilience that is safe, low carbon and cost-effective."
The incoming CEO will transition into his new role over the following couple of months to leave his current commitments.

The former JT boss is replacing Jo Cox, who left in September 2024 to 'pursue a new opportunity'.
Ms Cox tenure was beset by headlines, including the tragic suspected gas explosion at Haut du Mont which took 10 islanders' lives almost two years ago (10 December 2022) and an island-wide gas outage in October 2023.
