Jersey Met issues an orange warning for wind with gusts to 63 miles per hour.
Southwesterly gale force eight winds are due to hit Jersey, before veering westerly.
Gusts will reach 63 miles per hour, or 55 knots.
It comes as the Channel Islands narrowly miss the brunt of Storm Eowyn.
Winds will likely peak today (23 January) and tomorrow (24 January).
Jersey Met forecaster Matt Winter told Channel 103 the storm itself is of a similar sort of scale and intensity as Storm Ciarán.
"The saving grace for the Channel Islands is that this storm is a fair bit further north, affecting southwest parts of Ireland and west to northwest parts of England, Wales and Scotland. "
