Jersey Reds are expecting a packed-out crowd to welcome the league leaders this afternoon.
Harvey Biljon’s side is on a 5-match winning streak, but face a London Irish side who’ve won all eight league matches so far.
Last time the Reds went against London Irish at home they won 15-11 in front of a crowd of more than 3,300, a figure which the local club expect to come near topping this time.
Club Chairman, Mark Morgan, says his players are ready for the challenge:
“I know our squad are very keen to get out there and play. They’re really looking forward to the game, and I think it’s one of those situations where any sportsman wants to be able to test themselves against the best in the league, and [London Irish] are clearly that at the moment.”
Kick-off at the Stade Santander International is at 2 o’clock and will include a collection for the 2018 Poppy Appeal.
