A Jersey hotelier has submitted plans for a pizza restaurant on the Waterfront.
Hotel group Seymour, which also owns the Merton, Pomme d’Or and Greenhills, is set to open 'DIP DOH Pizza Co.' on the site of the old Pizza Hut - subject to planning permission.
The new restaurant will have indoor and outdoor seating - with room for 104 diners inside and 38 outside.
Its vision sees an opening schedule from Wednesday through to Sunday open in the afternoons until 10 pm, and a takeaway service.
It is understood that Seymour Group has signed a nine-year lease with Jersey Development Company for the site.
Pizza Hut closed in July 2022, and the premises - which is next door to Cineworld - has been empty ever since.
Spanish wine bar Pablo's and coffee shop Fenn&Co have opened more recently, moving into commercial units at the Horizon apartments.
Children's indoor play area Tintos now occupies the former Arcadia site.
However, premises such as the former TGI Fridays restaurant and The Bar remain vacant.
