A pedestrian is in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Grands Vaux.
Police say it happened at the junction of Stafford Lane, between Morrisons and the entrance to Wilkes Gardens, just after 10am on Monday morning (31 August).
Officers want to speak to anyone who saw a black BMW or a man in his late twenties wearing a green jacket and blue trousers who was walking along the pavement.
The car, which stopped the scene, had been travelling along Grands Vaux in the direction of the Stafford Lane junction.
The man is believed to have been walking in the same direction. The collision happened at the S-bend in the road.
SOJP said: "Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 612612 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form at Crimestoppers-uk.org"
