Plans have been submitted to turn an empty church in St Ouen into a skate venue.
If approved, ramps will be installed at the Methodist Chapel on Rue de Trodez.
A community project has been working since last summer on an ambition to convert the landmark church to a wet-weather skate facility.
Channel 103 reported on its intentions in July 2022.
It'll be operated by a charity called 'Skate Space' and feature a huge mural on the walls and ceiling.
The comprehensive 38-page design statement says it will turn a disused and neglected building into one that will benefit people again.
"Skate Space is a not-for-profit venture, where the financial aims of the project are solely to generate enough funds to keep the project alive, and thriving into the future.
Primarily our users will be local skateboarders in search of a quieter alternative to the outdoor skatepark. Skateboarders come from most demographics.
Kids, teens, adults and families can, and frequently do, skate together. The project’s aims are very simple - we wish to place some ramps in a currently empty building. This will offer a safe and controllable indoor facility for groups and individuals to practice skateboarding.

It'll host small skate sessions that will need to be booked in advance, creating a 'much-needed' indoor space for the sport.
The chapel - built in 1871 - has more recently been used as a storage space.
