Jersey Police have released CCTV of a person they want to speak to after an elderly man was assaulted and robbed in the early hours of Friday 4 February.
The victim suffered facial injuries and had £6,300 stolen from a bedside drawer.
The home on Old St John's Road was broken into sometime between 2:45 am and 3:15 am.
Officers are looking for a man who walked from Cheapside through town towards Belmont Road around the time of the incident.
He's not thought to have done anything wrong but could help with police enquiries.
Footage shows the potential witness walking from Cheapside at 3:19 am through Parade Park, Burrard Street, Minden Place, and Bath Street, before turning into Belmont Road at around 3:26 am.
He was wearing a light-coloured hoody, a dark jacket, light trousers, and black shoes.
Police are still appealing for anyone else with information to come forward.
