A record £14,500 was donated by people supping on soup in the Royal Square on Tuesday.
That is £1,500 more than in 2017, and the highest sum raised in the event's 20 year history.
Thousands of islanders lined up for a cup of one of the 40+ flavours of soup donated by local chefs in exchange for putting at least £3 in the collection tin.
