Les Quennevais Sports Centre will remain closed on Friday for the clean-up of a chemical leak to continue.
The centre shut as a precaution on Thursday afternoon amid concerns fumes were escaping from the pool plant room.
The leak has been repaired, but the clean-up is ongoing with the help of the Fire Service.
A government spokesperson has apologised for the inconvenience and says it's hoped the work won't take too long.
