World-class triathletes are returning to Jersey for the Supertri Pro Series Final but without Jonny Brownlee who's announced his retirement.
It's the sixth time Supertri has hosted an event in Jersey, and there is $800,000 in prize money.
Olympic champion Alex Yee and double Olympic medallist Hayden Wilde will reignite one of triathlon’s defining rivalries.
Reigning Supertri champion Jeanne Lehair will be hoping to hold on to her title, but will face tough competition from three-time Supertri champion and Olympic medallist Georgia Taylor-Brown.
Matthew Hauser, reigning Supertri champion Csongor Lehmann and Olympic gold medallist Tim Hellwig are among an outstanding men’s field chasing the title.
Jonny Brownlee was due to race but yesterday announced his retirement from the sport.
Jersey will also have its own athlete to cheer on, with local triathlete Siena Stephens lining up alongside some of the sport's biggest names.

On Sunday, they will compete in Supertri’s uniquely fast and relentless format of three back-to-back stages of swim, bike, and run without a break, with each stage consisting of a 300m swim, 4km bike, and 1.6km run.
Spectators can watch the action around the course completely free of charge, while the Fan Zone will be open from 12.30 pm with a big screen, merchandise, food, and stalls.
3D Events’ Swim Run Jersey and the JSAC Half Marathon, also this weekend, will create a landmark ‘weekend of endurance sport’ in Jersey.
The action also includes the RBC Race for Kids annual family fundraiser.
