A survey has opened to see if States-owned buildings meet people's needs, and if services can run properly from them.
Islanders are being asked for feedback on government buildings.
Property Holdings is developing a 20-year plan for the portfolio as part of the Island Public Estate Strategy.
The States has more than 500 operational properties valued at more than £1 billion.
A public survey wants to know how suitable islanders think Government of Jersey buildings are.
There questions about lighting, noise, layout, and accessibility.
Infrastructure Minister Deputy Tom Binet says government buildings need to be suitable and up to scratch to provide the highest possible public services.
“Some of our buildings are in good condition, whilst some are not quite so good.
We’re doing this survey to find out what islanders think, and what ideas they have for improving the buildings. One of my priorities is to ensure effective and efficient coordination across our estate, and to make sure we have a good understanding of the investment needed."
The survey is open until Tuesday 11 April.
