Soup is being served in the Royal Square for the popular annual Shelter Trust fundraiser.
There are 41 flavours to choose from, ranging from cauliflower cheese soup to the classic leek and potato soup, creamy Brussels sprout and chestnut soup and Jersey crab chowder.
The are all cooked up by local kitchens - including hotels, restaurants and community groups.
The ladles will start dishing up at 10.30 until the soup sells out.
Channel 103 asked Lead Organiser Richard Robins to predict which pan might run dry first.
"Now that's really tricky, the Ukrainian community in Jersey always give us a vegetarian borscht soup, and that sells out very quickly.
"I think people are attracted not only by the soup but by feeling that they're supporting Ukraine, which is great.
"We've got many of our usual providers, a few new ones, some interesting ones like the Ports of Jersey and the Commune Farm, and Flour Patisserie are also a new provider for us.
"The range of soups is a fantastic mixture of vegetables, fish, chicken, and lots of spices."

People looking to have liquid lunch are asked to donate £3 for a mug of soup and a bread roll.
Last year's event raised £20,000.
Richard says all the money raised goes towards helping the homelessness charity with costs, including food, which tends to be higher around Christmas.
"That money goes into the Shelter Trust's funds. Our costs are enormous.
"We're sleeping and feeding 100 people every night.
"It's really helpful in supporting the shelter's funds."
The Soup Kitchen is its 27th year and has raised £270,000 since it began.
The soup serving will be accompanied by some singing too, with performances from school choirs:
