The head of Visit Jersey says there are concerns for tourism about the impact of the UK's autumn budget.
Tax rises are anticipated when UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves makes her budget announcement later this month.
Visitor numbers are already down this year, with the latest figures revealed this week showing a 20% decline in August.
Visit Jersey has been in London this week, targeting tour operators at the UK's largest travel trade show, the World Travel Market 2025.
CEO Tricia Warwick is there speaking about Jersey's current and future tourism projects.
She told Channel 103 there are concerns within the industry about how potential visitors might respond to forthcoming UK Budget decisions, and whether they put a squeeze on household spending.
The UK is the island's biggest market, accounting for 73% of visitors.
However, Tricia Warwick says there is optimism:
"The mood here is really positive.
"When I talk to people like Jet2 for example...Jet2 are increasing their capacity into Jersey by 53% next year, that is really strong for us, of their optimism of our island."
She also told Channel 103 that the second series of Bergerac will air in the spring of 2026, following a re-airing of the first series in the new year.

It is hopes the exposure will bring so-called ‘set-jetting’ tourists to the island to explore the show’s filming locations.
"Jersey and Bergerac are so synonymous with each other.
"People are already getting excited. It's great to showcase Jersey, and there is a lot more outdoor shots of Jersey in series two than series one."
Tricia also shared that Jersey's new 48-mile coastal walk trail - launched in June - has had a 'wonderful take-up from industry'.
The eight routes were designed to support businesses and encourage year-round visits.
"It's a great way of showcasing the island, and we've got eight itineraries on our website of how you can do the whole thing or a part of it.
"There's the history and heritage trial, or the foodie trial. Tour operators are taking that and putting it on their website to explain to visitors why they should come to Jersey."
