Extra signs and better traffic management is being brought in around the Tunnel this weekend, to avoid the gridlock seen last Saturday.
The tunnel will be closed westbound again from this evening ((7pm) until Monday morning (6.30am)
The government says it has reviewed the impact that had on traffic flow.
Motorists approaching from the east will be encouraged to stay on the coast road and use Havre des Pas, Mount Bingham and Commercial Buildings.
Those who do head onto Route du Fort will be directed either south along Green Street - in a reversal of the usual one way system - or north past the multistory car park and into town.

Disruption will continue throughout July as a new sewage pipe is laid to allow waste to travel from the east of the island to the Bellozanne Treatment Plant.
