Some passengers have had their trips to St Malo on Saturday 9 July cancelled because one of the Condor Voyager's life rafts has been damaged.
A Condor spokesperson says the raft 'came into light contact with the quay in St Helier harbour last weekend.'
It is now temporarily out of action and therefore restricts the number of passengers that can be carried for safety reasons.
The vessel has an 850-passenger capacity.
"We are therefore providing a free day return voucher to some passengers who are unable to travel between Jersey and St Malo on Saturday 09 July and offering an additional complimentary day excursion ticket for their use over the summer.
We regret the inconvenience caused. Voyager will return to running to full capacity by next week."
