Wonky Town 2026 has been cancelled due to the financial risk being 'too high'.
The festival has announced that it will not be going forward this year, despite early-bird tickets generating sales.
It cites that financial pressures have not given organisers 'enough confidence' to put on the summer DJ event.
People who have bought tickets will be refunded to the card they used to make payments.
Organisers recently asked islanders, in a survey, what they wanted to see from the 2026 line-up, with customers wanting high-quality line-ups but at an affordable price.
Wonky Town said it has been unable to make the finances 'stack up' in a way that would allow it to deliver a 'credible' festival.
"Rather than compromise on quality or take risks that could damage the festival long-term, we’re choosing to pause and focus on building something stronger and more sustainable for next year.
We know this will be disappointing, and we genuinely appreciate the support, feedback and belief in what we’re trying to create."
