Three Bailiwick residents have been recognised in the Queen's New Year's Honours List.
Guernsey's David Swiffen is made an MBE for services to well-being and inter-faith dialogue.
Mr Swiffen owns the Les Cotils Christian Centre.
Former President of the States of Alderney Stuart Trought is also made an MBE.
He stepped down in May of this year after eight years in post.
Bryan Brehaut gets a British Empire Medal for services to young people through his work with the Boys' Brigade in Guernsey.
