There were winners from both Jersey and Guernsey in the finals of the 2025 de Putron Challenge.
Children have been going head-to-head in the Channel Islands' biggest schools quiz.
The de Putron Challenge aims to showcase the brightest young minds in Guernsey and Jersey, testing their knowledge of literature, current affairs, STEM subjects and music.
The annual challenge pits teams of students from Year 6 and Year 8 against each other.
The finalists, selected through close heats in their respective islands, and met on Tuesday (April 1) in Guernsey for the inter-islands final.

In the Year 6 final, Jersey's Victoria College Prep (pictured above left) were crowned winners, with Guernsey's Melrose (right) the runners-up.

The Year 8 final got underway in the afternoon between Jersey's St Michael’s Preparatory School and Guernsey's Blanchelande College.
This victory belonged to Guernsey, with Blanchelande lifting the trophy.
