A 34 year old woman, who was stabbed multiple times at a shop on Jersey's Waterfront, remains in hospital in a 'critical but stable condition'.
A 55 year old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder is still in police custody while an investigation continues.
Police are appealing for witnesses to what happened at the Morrisons Daily store at Castle Quay at around 1.30pm on Saturday (18 November).
Emergency services were called to reports that a woman who worked at the shop had been stabbed multiple times by a man who then fled the scene.
She was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Armed police were deployed and a suspect, known to the victim, was subsequently arrested.
